About Kent W. Dahl:

 

Kent W. Dahl is a Danish journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker based in Tokyo since 1986. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He first visited Japan in 1980, studying Japanese and training in Japanese companies. Previously he lived in Paris, New York and Chicago.

While covering Japan and the rest of Asia mainly for Danish media, he has also made several documentary films. The subjects ranging from Danish design to Indian street performance to the biggest art festival in Malaysia. He is currently finishing a documentary film about a Japanese showman.
